The Human Resource Development Ministry has announced an internship program for undergraduate college students. The program is relevant to any Indian citizen or OCI cardholder pursuing undergraduate or PG research in Education, Social Sciences, Science, Humanities, Management, Engineering, ICT, and Law. It has to be mentioned that college students who will be completing their last 12 months in November/December 2019 are also eligible to apply for the internship program.
Those applicants in their third or fourth year must have completed at least 2 years of the program to follow the internship program. Only the students in the listed establishments furnished can use the internship program. The listing consists of Institutions of National Importance/ Institution of Eminence, Institutions within the top 50 NIRF 2019 ranking for the technical/management category, top 10 regulation establishments in the NIRF 2019 rating, Institutions from the top 50 NIRF 2019 ranking for universities, International institutions of eminence inside the QS top one hundred.
The college students using the internship will be required to supplement the coverage analysis procedure within the ministry with the help of proper empirical collection alongside the collation of in-residence and different statistics. The internship will be for the ministry’s Higher Education and School Education and Literacy dom a. The internship could be in November or December 2019, extending for up to six months, in which a general of 15 slots are available in a single cycle, and the scholars decided on for the internship may be given a stipend of Rs. 10,000, consistent with a month after finishing the internship. The HRD Minister recently launched the Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme, DHRUV, at the Indian Space Research Organization Headquarters in Bangalore.
